Setup
1. Charge the Device
Before initial use, fully charge your HP Sprocket 2-in-1. Connect the included Micro USB cable to the device's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

2. Load HP ZINK Photo Paper
The HP Sprocket 2-in-1 uses HP ZINK 2x3-inch photo paper. This paper features peel-and-stick backing and does not require ink cartridges.
- Open the paper tray cover on the device.
- Insert up to 10 sheets of HP ZINK Photo Paper with the HP logos facing down. Ensure the blue Smartsheet is at the bottom of the stack, facing down.
- Close the paper tray cover securely.

3. Install the HP Sprocket App
For printing from your smartphone and accessing customization features, download the free HP Sprocket app from your device's app store (iOS or Android).
4. Pair via Bluetooth
To print from your smartphone, establish a Bluetooth connection:
- Ensure your HP Sprocket 2-in-1 is powered on.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Open the HP Sprocket app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your device.
Operating
Using as an Instant Camera
- Power on the device using the power switch.
- Flip the device to camera mode (lens facing forward).
- Use the pop-up viewfinder to frame your shot. For selfies, use the selfie mirror.
- Press the shutter button to take a photo.
- The photo will automatically print from the output slot.
- Optionally, press the 10-second timer button before the shutter for a delayed photo.

Printing from the HP Sprocket App
- Ensure the device is powered on and connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone.
- Open the HP Sprocket app on your smartphone.
- Select a photo from your gallery or social media accounts within the app.

- Tap the print icon in the app. The photo will be sent to your Sprocket 2-in-1 for printing.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasives.
- Paper Handling: Store HP ZINK Photo Paper in its original packaging in a cool, dry place to prevent damage and ensure print quality. Avoid touching the printing surface of the paper.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures. Charge the device regularly, even if not in frequent use.
Troubleshooting
