The WORX WG801 features a quick and easy tool-free blade change system. Always ensure the tool is turned off and the battery is removed before changing blades to prevent accidental startup.

  1. Locate the blade release mechanism, typically a button or lever on the tool head.
  2. Press the release button/lever and slide the current blade assembly off the tool.
  3. Align the desired blade (either the 8" shrubber blade or the 4" grass shear blade) with the tool's mounting points.

Once the battery is charged and the desired blade is installed, insert the battery into the tool until it clicks. To start the tool, press and hold the safety switch (if applicable) and then squeeze the trigger. Release the trigger to stop the tool.

6.2 Using the Shrubber Blade (8-inch)

The 8-inch shrubber blade is designed for trimming hedges, shrubs, and small bushes. Hold the tool firmly with both hands (if applicable, or one hand for this lightweight tool) and guide the blade along the desired cutting line. Use a sweeping motion for best results. Avoid cutting branches thicker than 5/16 inches (approximately 8mm) to prevent damage to the blades or motor.
