Setup Guide
1. Insert Batteries
- Keyboard: The keyboard requires two AAA batteries. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard, open it, and insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators.
- Mouse: The mouse requires one AA battery. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse, open it, and insert the battery according to the polarity indicators.
2. Connect the Unifying Receiver
Locate the small USB Unifying Receiver. Plug the receiver into an available USB port on your computer (desktop or laptop). The system should automatically detect the new hardware and install the necessary drivers.
3. Power On Devices
- Keyboard: Locate the On/Off switch on the top right side of the keyboard and slide it to the 'On' position.
- Mouse: Locate the On/Off switch on the underside of the mouse and slide it to the 'On' position.
4. Verify Connection
Once powered on, your keyboard and mouse should automatically connect to the Unifying Receiver. Test by typing on the keyboard and moving/clicking the mouse. If connection issues persist, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

Maintenance
Cleaning
- Keyboard: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture. For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
- Mouse: Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Clean the optical sensor area on the underside with a dry cotton swab if tracking issues occur.
Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the low battery indicator lights up or performance degrades. Refer to the Setup Guide for battery types and compartment locations.
Storage
When not in use for extended periods, turn off both the keyboard and mouse to conserve battery life. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
No Connection / Lagging Performance
- Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Check Receiver: Ensure the USB Unifying Receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port.
- Proximity: Ensure the keyboard and mouse are within 10 meters (33 feet) of the receiver.
- Interference: Move other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones) away from the receiver to minimize interference.
- Re-pair Devices: If issues persist, you may need to re-pair the devices with the Unifying Receiver using Logitech's Unifying Software (available for download from Logitech's official website).
Keys Not Responding / Mouse Not Tracking
- Clean Devices: Dust or debris might be obstructing keys or the mouse sensor. Refer to the Maintenance section for cleaning instructions.
- Surface: Ensure the mouse is used on a suitable surface. Highly reflective or transparent surfaces may cause tracking issues.
