If your SIM card is compatible but you cannot access the internet, you may need to configure the Access Point Name (APN) settings. This is common if the SIM card is not plug-and-play or if you are using a new carrier.
- Connect your device to the hotspot's Wi-Fi network.
- Open a web browser and enter the router's IP address: 192.168.0.1
- Log in using the default username (admin) and password (admin).
- Navigate to the 'Network' or 'Internet Connection' section.
- Locate the APN settings. You may need to disable the PIN code of your SIM card first.
- If the automatically read APN is incorrect, manually add a new APN profile with the correct SIM card information provided by your carrier. Ensure the correct IP type (e.g., IPv4) and authentication type are selected.
- Save the changes and reboot the router if prompted.

5. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your KuWFi 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot.
5.1 Device Does Not Turn On
- Ensure the battery is correctly installed and fully charged. Remove any insulating film from the battery terminals.
- Press and hold the power button for a few seconds.
- If the device still does not turn on, connect it to a power source using the provided USB cable and attempt to power it on while charging.
5.2 No Internet Connection
- Verify that your SIM card is activated and has an active data plan. The device does not support roaming service, Virtual SIM Cards, or IoT SIM Cards.
- Check the APN settings as described in Section 2.4. Incorrect APN settings are a common cause of connectivity issues.
- Ensure the SIM card is properly inserted and fully in contact with the metal connectors. A loose or improperly inserted SIM card can prevent network detection.
- If the device overheats, it may cause a blank screen or connection issues. Disconnect from power and allow it to cool down.
5.3 Unstable Connection / Frequent Disconnections
- Ensure the device is placed in an area with good 4G LTE signal strength.
- Avoid placing the router near other wireless devices, microwaves, or large metal objects that could interfere with the signal.
- If the date resets to 01-01-2014 every time the battery is removed, this is a known behavior and does not affect functionality.
- Consider setting the network mode to '4G Preferred' in the router settings (Section 2.4) if you experience slow speeds.
