Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Nilfisk E145.4 High Pressure Washer. Please read this manual carefully before using the product to ensure proper use and to prevent injury or damage.

Important Safety Information

High pressure jets can be dangerous if misused. Always follow these safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure safe operation:

  • Do not direct the water jet towards people, animals, live electrical equipment, or the machine itself.
  • Do not use the machine near people who are not wearing protective clothing.
  • Never direct the jet towards yourself or others to clean shoes.
  • Risk of explosion - do not spray flammable liquids nearby.
  • Pressure washers should not be used by children or untrained personnel.
  • Use only hoses, fittings, and couplings recommended by Nilfisk.
  • Use only original spare parts recommended by Nilfisk to ensure the safety of the machine.
  • Water flowing through the check valves is considered non-drinkable.
  • Do not use the machine if the power cable or other important parts (such as safety devices, high pressure hoses, trigger handle, spray handle, or lance) are damaged.
  • If an extension cable is used, it must be suitable for outdoor use, and the connection should be kept dry and at least 60 mm above the ground (e.g., using a cable reel).
  • Turn off the power and unplug the machine when unattended, finished using, switching functions, or performing repairs/maintenance.
  • When using pressure washers, aerosols may form. Inhaling aerosols can be dangerous to health. To protect against aerosols, a respirator mask of class FFP2 or equivalent may be required, depending on the cleaning environment.
