4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

  1. Connect the power brick charger to the CHARGER input on the rear panel of the MegaVox 2.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on, flip the POWER ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
  • To power off, flip the POWER ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.

  1. Connect the coil cord microphone (or another compatible microphone) to either the MIC 1 or MIC 2 input on the rear panel.
  2. Adjust the corresponding MIC 1 or MIC 2 volume control knob to achieve the desired microphone level.
  3. Adjust the main VOLUME control for overall system output.

5.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the MegaVox 2 is powered on.
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth PAIRING button on the rear panel until the Bluetooth indicator light begins to flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  3. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone), go to its Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
  4. Select "Anchor Audio MegaVox 2" (or similar name) from the list.
  5. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light will become solid. You can now stream audio wirelessly from your device.

5.4 Line Input Connection

  1. Connect an external audio source (e.g., MP3 player, laptop) to the LINE IN input using an appropriate cable (Aux or XLR).
  2. Adjust the LINE IN volume control knob for the desired input level.
  3. Adjust the main VOLUME control for overall system output.

5.5 Signal Alert Function

Press the SIGNAL ALERT button on the rear panel to activate a distinct alert tone. This feature is useful for attracting attention in emergency situations or for signaling purposes.

5.6 External Speaker Connection

The SPEAKER OUT port allows you to connect an optional external passive speaker to extend your sound coverage. Ensure the external speaker is compatible with the MegaVox 2's output specifications.
