Operating Instructions

The Lindby Flavi ceiling light is designed for straightforward operation.

  • Turning On/Off: Operate the light using your standard wall switch connected to the fixture.
  • Dimmable Functionality: This fixture is dimmable. If you wish to utilize dimming capabilities, ensure you use dimmable E27 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch or control method (e.g., a smart bulb controlled via an application, as indicated in some specifications). The fixture itself supports dimming when paired with appropriate bulbs and controls.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your light fixture.

  • Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe the metal parts with a soft, dry cloth. The glass diffuser can be gently wiped with a damp cloth and then dried thoroughly. Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish or glass.
  • Bulb Replacement:
    • Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker.
    • Carefully remove the glass diffuser by twisting or releasing its fasteners.
    • Unscrew the old E27 bulb and screw in a new one (max 15W LED).
    • Reattach the glass diffuser securely.
    • Restore power.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Lindby Flavi ceiling light, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Light Does Not Turn On:
    • Check if the main power supply is on at the circuit breaker.
    • Ensure the wall switch is in the 'ON' position.
    • Verify that the bulbs are correctly screwed in and not faulty. Replace if necessary.
    • Check wiring connections for looseness (only if you are qualified and power is off).
  • Light Flickers:
    • Ensure bulbs are fully screwed into their sockets.
    • If using dimmable bulbs, ensure they are compatible with your dimmer switch. Incompatible dimmers or bulbs can cause flickering.
    • Try replacing the bulbs with new ones to rule out faulty bulbs.
  • Dimming Function Not Working:
    • Confirm that you are using dimmable E27 LED bulbs.
    • Ensure your dimmer switch is compatible with LED lighting and correctly installed.
    • If using smart bulbs, check their application settings and connectivity.
