This CC KITS Full-Size Conversion Kit is designed to transform compatible convertible cribs into a full-size bed. The kit includes solid wood bed rails and slats, providing a sturdy and safe sleeping solution for your growing child. It utilizes the existing headboard and footboard from your convertible crib.

4. Compatibility

This conversion kit is designed for specific convertible crib models. Please ensure your crib is listed as compatible below. The included slats are 53.75 inches long.

NOT Compatible With: Cabana, Calloway, Chatham, Euro, Mon Cheri, Pamela, Peyton, Pinehurst and Sheffield Cribs.

5. Setup and Installation Instructions

The conversion process from crib to full-size bed typically takes 20-30 minutes. You will need a screwdriver for assembly.

Steps for Conversion:

1. Prepare the Crib: Disassemble the crib, removing the side rails. Retain the headboard and footboard, as these will form the ends of your new full-size bed.
2. Attach Bed Rails: Connect the two wooden bed rails from this kit to the headboard and footboard of your crib. Ensure the rails are oriented correctly and securely fastened using the provided hardware.
3. Install Support Slats: Place the four support slats across the bed rails. It is recommended to place one slat near the headboard, one near the footboard, and space the remaining two evenly in between. Secure each slat to the bed rails using the provided screws.
4. Add Mattress: Place a full-size mattress onto the installed slats. For optimal support and longevity, additional slats may be purchased separately.

6. Usage and Operating Instructions

Mattress Support:

The included slats provide basic mattress support. For enhanced support and to achieve a lower mattress height, it is recommended to use additional slats instead of a box spring. Using a box spring will result in a significantly higher mattress position.
