Mounting the Device
The laser level offers versatile mounting options for various applications:
- Magnetic Bracket: The included magnetic bracket allows for easy attachment to metal surfaces. Its 360° rotation feature provides flexible positioning for precise alignment.
- Tripod/Laser Pole: The device features 1/4"-20 mounting threads, making it compatible with standard tripods or laser poles for elevated or stable setups.

Operating Modes
The Huepar BOX-1G offers three distinct operating modes to suit different project requirements:
1. Self-Leveling Mode
This mode automatically levels the laser lines within a 4° range. It is ideal for applications requiring perfectly horizontal or vertical lines, such as hanging pictures or installing shelves.
- To activate, unlock the pendulum by sliding the switch to the 'unlocked' position.
- The laser will self-level. If the device is out of its 4° leveling range, the laser beam will flash to indicate it cannot self-level. Adjust the device's position until the beam becomes steady.

2. Manual Mode
Manual mode allows you to project laser lines at any desired angle, making it suitable for non-level applications like installing handrails or decorative patterns.
- To activate, lock the pendulum by sliding the switch to the 'locked' position.
- The laser lines will remain fixed at the angle you set the device.

3. Pulse Mode
Pulse mode extends the working range of the laser level, especially useful in strong light conditions or for outdoor use when paired with a Huepar laser receiver (sold separately).
- To activate, unlock the pendulum and then press and hold the power button. The laser lines will become slightly dimmer, indicating pulse mode is active.
- In pulse mode, the working range can extend up to 197ft (60m) with a compatible Huepar laser receiver.

Selectable Laser Line Modes
The Huepar BOX-1G allows you to select between different laser line configurations based on your needs:
- Horizontal Line: Projects a 130° horizontal line.
- Vertical Line: Projects a 150° vertical line.
- Cross Line: Projects both horizontal and vertical lines simultaneously, creating a 90° cross.
Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the available line modes (horizontal, vertical, cross line).

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your Huepar BOX-1G Laser Level:
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the laser windows and the device body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the optics or housing.
- Storage: When not in use, store the laser level in its included carry bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
- Handling: Always handle the device with care. Avoid dropping or subjecting it to strong impacts, as this can affect its calibration and internal components.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Laser beam flashes continuously in self-leveling mode. | Device is out of its 4° self-leveling range. | Place the device on a flatter surface or adjust its position until it is within the 4° range. |
| Laser lines are dim or not visible. | Low battery power or bright ambient light. | Replace batteries. For outdoor or bright conditions, activate pulse mode and use a laser receiver. |
| Device does not power on. | Incorrect battery installation or dead batteries. | Check battery polarity and ensure they are correctly inserted. Replace with fresh batteries. |
| Laser lines are not accurate. | Device may have been dropped or subjected to impact, affecting calibration. | Perform a calibration check as per advanced user guides or contact customer support for service. |
