Setup Instructions

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging.
  2. Insert Batteries: The piano requires 3 AA batteries (included). Locate the battery compartment on the back of the piano, open it with a screwdriver, insert the batteries, and secure the cover.
  3. Attach Piano: Slide the piano into the designated slots on the green support legs. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  4. Position Playmat: Lay the soft playmat flat on the floor. Align the mat with the piano and the support legs.
  5. Assemble Toy Arch: Connect the two halves of the colorful toy arch. Insert the ends of the arch into the holes on the green support legs.
  6. Attach Toys: Use the plastic rings to attach the five linkable toys to the loops on the toy arch. The mirror can be attached to the arch or to the top of the piano for tummy time.
  7. Adjust Piano Position: For lay and play, ensure the piano is positioned so the infant can kick the keys. For tummy time, the piano can be detached and placed upright. For sitting up play, the piano can be moved to the front of the mat.

Operating Instructions

Piano Functions:

  • Power On/Off: Use the switch on the piano to turn it on or off.
  • Volume Control: Adjust the volume using the dedicated switch (quieter/louder).
  • Smart Stages Technology: The piano features three Smart Stages learning levels, indicated by a slider switch:
    • Level 1 (Explore): Introduces basic sounds and musical notes when keys are pressed or kicked.
    • Level 2 (Encourage): Adds phrases and simple songs, encouraging interaction with animals and colors.
    • Level 3 (Pretend): Offers more complex melodies and encourages imaginative play with different musical styles.
  • Musical Settings: The piano has four musical settings, including freestyle piano play and the popular "Purple Monkey 'Maybe'" song.

Play Modes:

  • Lay & Play: Position the infant on their back on the playmat, allowing them to kick the piano keys and bat at the hanging toys.
  • Tummy Time: Place the infant on their tummy on the mat. The toy arch can be repositioned, and the mirror can be attached to the piano for visual engagement.
  • Sit & Play: As the infant grows, the piano can be detached and placed upright for sitting play, allowing them to interact with the keys and sounds using their hands.

Maintenance

  • Playmat: The playmat is machine-washable. Remove it from the structure, wash on a gentle cycle with cold water, and tumble dry on low heat. Do not bleach.
  • Piano & Plastic Parts: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not immerse the piano in water.
  • Toys: Wipe plastic toys with a damp cloth. Fabric toys can be spot cleaned or hand washed.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the playmat and components in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting
