Important Safety Instructions

Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the electric skillet and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the non-stick cooking plates with a damp cloth or sponge. Ensure all surfaces are dry before plugging in. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  3. Placement: Place the skillet on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Basic Operation:

  1. Power On: Plug the appliance into a power outlet. Press the Power button to turn on the skillet. The digital display will illuminate.
  2. Select Heating Level: Use the Selection button (often depicted with a flame icon) to cycle through the available heating levels:
    • Crisp (High)
    • Medium
    • Small (Low)
    Choose the appropriate level for your cooking needs.
  3. Set Timer: Use the Timer + and Timer - buttons to adjust the cooking time. The time will be displayed on the digital screen.

  6. Preheat Function: Some models feature a "Preheat" button. Press this to preheat the skillet to a default temperature before adding food. An indicator light or sound will signal when preheating is complete.
  7. Opening the Skillet: The skillet can be opened to 95 degrees for standard cooking or 180 degrees for use as an open grill. Carefully open the top plate using the handle.
  8. Power Off: After cooking, press the Power button to turn off the appliance and unplug it from the wall outlet.

Maintenance and Cleaning
