Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Vegetables: Wash and trim both ends of the fruit or vegetable. For best results, use firm, fresh produce. Cut larger vegetables to fit the chamber, typically around 4-6 inches in length.
  2. Select Blade: The spiralizer features 4 rotating blades. Open the side panel to access the blade mechanism. Rotate the green knob to select your desired blade:
    • Coarse Shred (5.5mm)
    • Coarse Shred (5mm)
    • Fine Shred (3mm)
    • Ribbon Blade
Ensure the selected blade is securely in place before closing the panel.
  3. Load Vegetable: Place the prepared vegetable vertically into the center of the spiralizer's chamber, ensuring it is centered on the prongs.
  4. Close Top Unit: Lower the top unit, aligning the vegetable with the circular blade.
  5. Begin Spiraling: While applying gentle downward pressure on the top handle, turn the crank handle clockwise. The gravity-assisted design will help feed the vegetable through the blade, producing spirals into the attached container.
  6. Remove Spirals: Once the vegetable is fully processed, lift the top unit and remove the container with the freshly made spirals.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your spiralizer.

  1. Disassemble: Separate all detachable parts, including the top unit, container, and main body.
  2. Hand Wash Only: All components should be hand washed with warm, soapy water. Do not place in a dishwasher.
  3. Use Cleaning Brush: Utilize the included cleaning brush to remove any small food particles from the blades and hard-to-reach areas. Exercise caution when cleaning blades as they are sharp.
  4. Rinse and Dry: Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water. Allow all components to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Spiralizer slides on countertop during use.

Solution: Ensure the suction cup is properly engaged. Press the unit firmly onto a clean, smooth, non-porous surface (like granite, marble, or glass) and then push down the suction cup lever to create a strong seal. Make sure the surface is dry and free of debris.

Issue: Vegetable is not spiraling correctly or gets stuck.

Solution:

  • Verify the vegetable is firm and fresh. Softer vegetables may not spiral well.
  • Ensure the vegetable is cut straight and centered on the prongs.
  • Apply consistent, gentle downward pressure while turning the crank.
  • Check that the selected blade is clean and free of obstructions.

Issue: Blades appear dull or damaged.

Solution: The blades are made of durable stainless steel. If they appear dull, ensure they are clean and free of residue. Avoid cutting extremely hard vegetables or fruits that are not suitable for spiraling, as this can damage the blades. If damage persists, contact customer support.
