2.2 Installation Steps

  1. Attach to Rearview Mirror: Securely attach the HD Mirror Cam to your existing rearview mirror using the provided rubber strap bands. Ensure the camera lens faces forward and the mirror is stable.

  3. Insert Micro SD Card: Locate the Micro SD card slot on the unit and insert the included 16 GB Micro SD card. Ensure it clicks into place.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the vehicle power cable into the unit's USB port and then into your car's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket). The unit will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle ignition is turned on.
  5. Adjust Lens: Adjust the 350-degree rotating lens to capture the desired view. It can be rotated to record the road ahead or the interior of the vehicle.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Automatic Recording

The HD Mirror Cam automatically starts recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on and stops recording when the ignition is turned off. This ensures continuous coverage during your drives.

3.2 Loop Recording

The device features loop recording, which means it continuously records video. When the Micro SD card is full, the oldest files are automatically overwritten by new recordings. This ensures you always have the most recent footage available.

3.3 Motion Detection

With motion detection enabled, the camera will automatically start recording if it detects movement while your vehicle is parked. This feature helps capture incidents that occur when you are not present.
