Setup
- Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the monitor. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.
- Set Date and Time: Refer to the "Setting" section in the included user manual for detailed instructions on how to set the current date and time on your device. This ensures accurate record-keeping.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for accurate blood pressure measurement:
- Preparation: Sit upright with your back supported. Relax for 5 minutes before taking a measurement. Avoid talking or moving during the measurement.
- Cuff Placement: Attach the cuff snugly on your left wrist. Ensure the monitor is positioned about 0.5-0.8 inches (1.3-2.0 cm) between the monitor and the base of your palm. The display should face upwards.
- Arm Position: Rest your arm on a table or flat surface so that the monitor is at heart-level.
- Start Measurement: Press the "START/STOP" button to begin the measurement. The cuff will automatically inflate.
- Reading Results: Once the measurement is complete (typically less than 45 seconds), the systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the large LCD screen. The device will also indicate if an irregular heartbeat is detected.
- Memory Function: The monitor automatically stores up to 120 readings with date and time. Press the "M" button to review past measurements. The device can also display the average of the last three readings.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the monitor and cuff gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
- Storage: Store the monitor in its protective carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.
