1. Safety Guidelines

Please read and understand all safety instructions before operating the SEEKONE Heat Gun. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious personal injury.

  • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, when operating the heat gun.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation in the work area to prevent the buildup of fumes, especially when working with materials that may release toxic gases.
  • Do not touch the hot nozzle or accessories during or immediately after use. Allow the tool to cool down completely before handling or storing.
  • Keep flammable materials away from the heat gun and the heated workpiece.
  • Do not direct the heat gun at people or animals.
  • The heat gun is equipped with overheat protection to prevent damage to the tool and circuit. If the tool overheats, it will automatically shut off. Allow it to cool before resuming operation.
  • Always unplug the heat gun from the power source when not in use or before performing any maintenance.

2.2 Key Features

  • Strong Power with 2 Modes: 1800W motor provides rapid heating up to 1202℉ (650℃) in approximately 1.5 seconds. Two operational modes are available: Mode I (50-450℃, 190-210L/min airflow) and Mode II (50-650℃, 250-500L/min airflow).
  • Variable Temperature Control & Overheat Protection: Features a black dial for rheostat-type heating and a high/low switch for airflow control. Temperature range from 122℉ to 1202℉. Includes an overheat protector to prevent damage to the heat gun and electrical circuit.
  • Scientific Ergonomic Design: The handle is designed for comfortable grip, reducing strain during extended use.
  • Four Nozzles Accessories:
    • Deflector Nozzle: Directs a long, narrow heat pattern.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the heat gun and accessories for any signs of damage. Do not use the tool if any damage is observed.

3.2 Attaching Nozzles

Select the appropriate nozzle for your application. To attach a nozzle, align it with the heat gun's outlet and push it firmly into place. For the first installation, you may need to adjust the interface slightly by hand before rotating to secure it.

The heat gun can also be placed on its flat base for hands-free operation, allowing you to manipulate the workpiece with both hands.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

Plug the heat gun into a standard 110V AC power outlet. Use the high/low switch located on the handle to select the desired airflow mode (Mode I or Mode II) or to turn the unit OFF.

4.2 Temperature and Airflow Control

The heat gun offers variable temperature control via a black dial at the rear of the unit. Rotate the dial clockwise to increase the temperature and counter-clockwise to decrease it. The temperature range is from 122℉ (50℃) to 1202℉ (650℃).

4.3 Recommended Applications

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your heat gun.

  • Cleaning: After each use, ensure the heat gun is unplugged and completely cool. Wipe the exterior with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the air intake and exhaust vents clear of dust and debris.
  • Storage: Store the heat gun in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children. Ensure the power cord is not kinked or damaged during storage.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cord for cuts, fraying, or damage. If the cord is damaged, have it replaced by a qualified technician.

6. Troubleshooting
