Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Keurig K-Elite brewer.

Descaling

The brewer features a BREWER MAINTENANCE REMINDER that will alert you when it's time to descale. Descaling removes built-up calcium deposits, which can affect brew quality and brewer lifespan. Follow the instructions in the full user guide for the descaling process.

Cleaning

  • Regularly clean the exterior of the brewer with a damp cloth.
  • Wash the drip tray and water reservoir with warm, soapy water.
  • Replace the water filter every two months or as indicated by the brewer.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Keurig K-Elite, consider the following common solutions:

  • Brewer Not Turning On: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet.
  • "ADD WATER" Indicator: Refill the water reservoir to the MAX fill line.
  • Coffee Not Brewing: Ensure the brewer handle is fully lowered and a K-Cup pod is properly inserted. Check if the water reservoir is correctly seated.
  • Slow Brewing or Reduced Flow: This often indicates a need for descaling. Follow the maintenance instructions.
  • Coffee Not Hot Enough: Check the temperature control setting and adjust if necessary. Ensure the brewer has completed its heating cycle.
