Setup

Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker for approximately 6-8 hours. Connect the provided charging cable to the speaker's DC 12V input port on the rear panel and to a suitable power outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and typically change color or turn off when fully charged.

Powering On/Off

Locate the 'POWER' switch on the rear panel. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the speaker. Flip it to 'OFF' to power off the speaker.

Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Connection

  1. Power on the speaker. The speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
  2. Activate Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
  3. Search for "QS-808" or "Ridgeway Speaker" in your device's Bluetooth settings.
  4. Select the speaker to pair. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

USB/TF Card Playback

Insert a USB flash drive or TF (microSD) card into the corresponding port on the control panel. The speaker will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files (e.g., MP3). Use the control buttons (Play/Pause, Previous, Next) on the speaker or remote to navigate tracks.

FM Radio

Press the 'MODE' button on the control panel or remote control to switch to FM radio mode. Press and hold the 'Play/Pause' button to auto-scan and save available stations. Once scanning is complete, use the 'Previous' and 'Next' buttons to switch between saved stations.

AUX Input

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop) to the AUX input port on the rear panel using a 3.5mm audio cable. Press the 'MODE' button to select AUX input. Adjust the volume on both the speaker and your external device.

Microphone Usage

Connect the wired microphone to the 'MIC IN' input port on the rear panel. Adjust the 'MIC VOL' knob for microphone volume and the 'ECHO' knob for echo effect. Ensure the microphone is switched on if it has its own power switch.

Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient operation of various functions from a distance, including power, mode selection, volume adjustment, track navigation, and EQ settings. Ensure the remote control has working batteries and is pointed towards the speaker's sensor.
