Setup and Placement

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for off-season storage.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is positioned at least 3 feet (0.9m) away from walls, furniture, curtains, and other combustible materials. This heater is designed for floor mount use only.
3. Power Connection: Ensure the heater is plugged directly into a 120 Volt AC, 60 Hz electrical outlet. Avoid using extension cords if possible. If an extension cord is necessary, it must be a minimum 14 AWG and rated for at least 1500 Watts.

Operating Your Heater

The heater features two control knobs: one for fan/heat settings and another for thermostat adjustment.

1. Power On: Plug the heater into a suitable electrical outlet. The red POWER indicator light will illuminate when the unit is receiving power.
2. Fan/Heat Setting Knob: Rotate the top knob to select your desired mode:
   • OFF: Turns the heater off.
   • FAN: Activates the fan only, circulating air without heat.
   • LO: Provides low heat output.
   • HI: Provides high heat output (1500 Watts).
3. Thermostat Adjustment Knob: Rotate the bottom knob to set the desired room temperature. The thermostat will cycle the heater on and off to maintain the selected temperature.
   • MIN (Snowflake Symbol): This is the Anti-Freeze setting. The heater will activate if the room temperature drops to near freezing, helping to prevent pipes from freezing.
   • MAX: Provides continuous heat until the room reaches a high temperature, then cycles off.
4. Power Off: To turn off the heater, rotate the top Fan/Heat Setting knob to the OFF position. Unplug the heater from the wall outlet when not in use.
