3. Product Overview
The F100 monitor features a 7-inch IPS panel with a 1280x800 resolution, 450 nits brightness, and a 1200:1 contrast ratio. Its thin design (17mm) and lightweight construction (13 ounces) make it suitable for various setups. It includes HDMI and AV inputs, an earphone port, and a USB upgrade port. 4. Setup
- Mounting: Attach the included mini ball head to the monitor's 1/4" screw hole at the bottom. Secure the ball head to your camera's hot shoe or a compatible rig. Adjust the angle using the monitor fixation knob and angle adjustment knob.
- Power Connection: The monitor requires a compatible battery (NP-F series, not included) or a DC 12V power source. Insert a charged NP-F series battery (e.g., NP-F550, NP-F750/770 recommended for longer life) into the battery slot on the back of the monitor.
- Camera Connection:
- For cameras with Mini HDMI output, use the provided Mini HDMI cable.
- For cameras with Micro HDMI output, use the provided Micro HDMI cable.
- Connect the appropriate HDMI cable from your camera to the HDMI input port on the monitor.

5. Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off: Press the power button (marked with a circle and vertical line) to turn the monitor on or off.

7. Maintenance
- Clean the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Keep the monitor dry and away from extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting
- Monitor not turning off completely / Battery drain: Some users report a red light staying on even after pressing the power button, leading to battery drain. It is recommended to remove the battery from the monitor when not in use for extended periods.
- Loud audio feedback: If connecting to a camera, ensure both the camera's audio output volume and the monitor's volume are reduced or muted before connecting to prevent sudden loud feedback. Adjust volume levels gradually.
- HDMI connection issues: If the monitor does not display video, check that the HDMI cable is securely connected at both the camera and monitor ends. Ensure the correct input source is selected on the monitor. If issues persist, try a different HDMI cable.
