Installation Steps:

1. Prepare Vehicle and Fit Kit: Ensure your vehicle's roof and door frames are clean and free of debris. Consult the instructions provided with your vehicle-specific DF Fit Kit for initial preparation and attachment points.

2. Attach End Supports to Cross Bars: Slide the DFE Series End Supports onto the Rola Rail Extreme Cross Bars. Position them according to the setting marks provided on the cross bars or as indicated in your specific fit kit instructions.

3. Position on Vehicle: Carefully place the assembled cross bars with end supports onto your vehicle's door frames, aligning them with the attachment points from your DF Fit Kit. The end supports are designed to clamp securely to the door frame.

4. Secure the Supports: Lock the levers down on each end support to initially secure them. Use the provided Rola tensioning tool to tighten the supports to the setting marks. This ensures a precise and secure fit.

5. Final Check: After tightening, ensure all four end supports are firmly attached and the cross bars are level and stable. Attempt to move the entire rack system to confirm it is securely mounted.

Operating the Locking Mechanism

The DFE Series End Supports feature a lockable outer cover for added security. This mechanism helps deter theft of your roof rack system.

• To lock the end support, insert your Rola One Key core system key (available separately) into the lock cylinder and turn it to the locked position.
• To unlock, insert the key and turn it to the unlocked position.
• Ensure all end supports are locked when the vehicle is unattended or when transporting cargo.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Rola DFE Series End Supports.

• Cleaning: Clean the end supports with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
