3.2 Charging the Device
Important: Never recharge the stimulator without first disconnecting the stimulation cables. Always use the charger supplied by DJO, LLC to recharge the batteries.
To recharge, connect the supplied charger to the front of the device. Slide the red cover to the right to expose the charger connector, insert the charger pin, then plug the charger into a wall socket.

3.3 Electrode Placement and Connection
Refer to the included electrode placement guidebook for specific instructions on electrode positioning for various muscle groups and programs. Ensure your skin is clean and dry before applying electrodes for optimal adhesion and conductivity.
Connect the Easy Snap Electrode lead wires to the electrodes, then firmly snap the electrodes onto the skin according to the placement guide. Finally, connect the lead wires to the corresponding ports on the stimulator device.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
To turn the device on or off, press and hold the power button located on the front panel until the screen illuminates or shuts down.
4.2 Program Selection
The Compex Sport Elite 2.0 offers 10 distinct programs designed for various athletic needs. Use the navigation buttons on the device to scroll through and select your desired program from the menu displayed on the screen.

Available Programs:
- Endurance Program: Designed for long-duration aerobic activities, this program increases muscle resistance to fatigue by building slow-twitch muscle fibers.
- Resistance Program: An all-around program for improving both endurance and strength, targeting both slow and fast-twitch muscle fibers.
- Strength Program: Increases muscle strength with a reduced risk of muscle-tendon injury compared to conventional weight lifting alone.
- Explosive Strength Program: Focuses on developing short bursts of power without the traumatic or violent movements associated with some traditional training methods.
- Potentiation Program: Warms up muscles faster, preparing them for activity without inducing psychological, muscular, or cardiovascular fatigue.
- Active Recovery Program: Facilitates muscle relaxation and helps reduce muscle soreness and stiffness following intense competition or demanding workouts.
- Recovery Plus Program: This program does not contract the muscle. It helps clear lactic acid and increases blood flow at lower frequencies, ideal for muscles fatigued after vigorous activity.
- Pre-Warm Up Program: Similar to Recovery Plus, this program does not contract the muscle. It operates at a frequency specifically targeted to increase blood flow and oxygenate muscles prior to a workout or competition.
- Massage Program: Electrostimulation in this program develops the blood capillary network of the exposed muscles, improving irrigation and oxygenation.
- TENS Program: This program is specifically designed for pain management, helping to decrease the intensity of pain and improve motion and function.
4.3 Adjusting Intensity
Once a program is selected and electrodes are correctly placed, gradually increase the intensity using the '+' buttons for each channel. Adjust until a strong, yet comfortable, muscle contraction is achieved. Decrease intensity with the '-' buttons if the sensation becomes too strong or uncomfortable.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Device Care
Clean the device exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water. Store the device in its carrying case when not in use to protect it from dust and damage.
5.2 Electrode Care
After each use, carefully remove the electrodes from your skin and reattach them to their protective liners. Store the electrodes in a sealed bag to prolong their adhesive life. Replace electrodes when they no longer adhere well to the skin or when stimulation becomes uneven or uncomfortable.
5.3 Battery Care
Recharge the battery as instructed in section 3.2. If the device will not be used for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged before storage to maintain battery health.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Electrode Disconnection
If the device displays a 'disconnected lead' notice or if stimulation stops, check that all electrodes are firmly attached to the skin and that lead wires are securely connected to both the electrodes and the stimulator. Replace electrodes if they have lost their adhesiveness or if the gel is dry.
6.2 No or Weak Stimulation
Ensure the device battery is sufficiently charged. Verify that electrodes are correctly placed and making full contact with the skin. Gradually increase the intensity levels for the active channels. Inspect lead wires for any visible damage or breaks.
