4. Getting Started

4.1 Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the camera to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter) using the provided USB cable.

4.2 Inserting a MicroSD Card

  2. Gently insert the MicroSD card with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

4.3 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the top panel) for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.

5. Basic Operation

5.1 Recording Video

  1. Ensure the camera is in video recording mode (indicated on the info screen).
  2. Press the Record/Shutter button once to start recording. A red indicator light will typically flash.
  3. Press the Record/Shutter button again to stop recording. The indicator light will stop flashing.

5.2 Taking Photos

  1. Ensure the camera is in photo mode.
  2. Press the Record/Shutter button once to capture a photo.

5.3 Playback

You can review your captured content directly on the camera's info screen or by connecting to a smart device via Wi-Fi.

  • On Camera: Use the mode button to navigate to playback mode. Use navigation buttons to select and view files.
  • Via App: Connect your camera to the Vivitar 360 app on your smartphone or tablet to browse and play back media.
