6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for optimal performance of your robot vacuum. Perform these steps regularly:

6.1 Emptying the Dustbin

The dustbin has a capacity of 0.42 liters. It is recommended to empty the dustbin after each cleaning cycle, especially in homes with pets or high traffic.

  1. Open the top cover of the robot.
  2. Remove the dustbin by pulling it upwards.
  3. Open the dustbin cover and empty its contents into a trash can.

6.2 Cleaning the Filter

The filter is located inside the dustbin. Tap off excess dirt and rinse the filter with water. Allow it to air dry completely before reinserting. Do not use a brush or any other tool to clean the filter, as this may damage it. Replace the filter every 3-6 months, or as needed.

6.3 Cleaning Brushes

  • Main Brush: Remove the main brush cover and lift out the main brush. Use the provided cleaning tool to remove hair and debris tangled around the brush. Cut any tightly wound hair with scissors if necessary.
  • Side Brush: Unscrew the side brush and remove any hair or debris. Reattach securely.

6.4 Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts

Wipe the cliff sensors (located on the bottom of the robot), wall sensors (on the side), and charging contacts (on the robot and dock) with a clean, dry cloth. Keep these areas free of dust and debris to ensure proper navigation and charging.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your robot vacuum, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Robot does not turn on.Low battery; Power button not pressed correctly.Place robot on charging dock; Press and hold power button for 3 seconds.
Robot does not charge.Charging contacts are dirty; Charging dock not powered.Clean charging contacts on robot and dock; Ensure charging dock is plugged in and powered.

Poor cleaning performance.Dustbin full; Brushes tangled; Filter clogged.Empty dustbin; Clean main and side brushes; Clean or replace filter.
Cannot connect to Wi-Fi/App.Incorrect Wi-Fi password; Router issues; Robot too far from router; 5GHz Wi-Fi network.Ensure correct password; Restart router; Move robot closer to router; Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz network.
Robot avoids dark-colored floors/carpets.Cliff sensors detect dark surfaces as drops. This is normal behavior for safety. No solution if you want it to clean these areas without risk of falling. Consider virtual walls if applicable.
