4. Initial Setup

5. Battery Connection (for Electric Start): If the battery is not pre-connected, connect the positive (+) battery cable (red) to the positive (+) battery terminal and the negative (-) battery cable (black) to the negative (-) battery terminal. Ensure connections are tight.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Starting the Generator

Ensure the generator is on a level surface, outdoors, and away from any combustible materials.

1. Turn Fuel Valve ON: Locate the fuel valve and turn it to the 'ON' position.
2. Set Choke: If the engine is cold, move the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' (closed) position. If the engine is warm, set it to 'RUN' (open).
3. Engine Switch: Turn the engine switch to the 'ON' position.
