Remote Control

Setup

Placement

• Sound Bar: Place the sound bar on a stable, flat surface directly in front of your TV, or mount it on the wall below your TV using appropriate wall brackets (not included). Ensure it is centered for optimal sound dispersion.
• Subwoofer: The wireless subwoofer can be placed anywhere in the room, ideally within 10 meters (33 feet) of the sound bar, without significant obstructions. Experiment with different locations to find the best bass response for your listening area.

Connecting the System

1. Connect Sound Bar Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN 12V port on the sound bar, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
2. Connect Subwoofer Power: Connect the power cable to the DC IN 12V port on the subwoofer, then plug it into a wall outlet. Turn the subwoofer's POWER switch to the ON position.
3. Initial Pairing (Sound Bar & Subwoofer): The sound bar and wireless subwoofer should automatically pair when both are powered on. If they do not pair automatically, ensure both units are powered on and within range. If pairing issues persist, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
4. Connect Audio Source: Choose one of the following methods to connect your audio source (e.g., TV, DVD player, smartphone):
   • Optical Input (Recommended for TV): Connect one end of the optical cable to the OPTICAL OUT port on your TV and the other end to the OPTICAL port on the sound bar. Ensure your TV's audio output is set to 'PCM' or 'Stereo' if you experience no sound.
   • LINE IN (AUX): Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) from the audio output of your device to the LINE IN port on the sound bar.

   • USB: Insert a USB flash drive containing audio files into the USB port on the sound bar.

Operating

Basic Operation

1. Power On/Off: Press the POWER button on the sound bar or remote control to turn the unit on or off.
2. Volume Adjustment: Use the VOL+ and VOL- buttons on the sound bar or remote control to adjust the master volume.
3. Mute: Press the MUTE button on the remote control to temporarily silence the sound. Press again to restore sound.
4. Mode Selection: Press the MODE button on the sound bar or remote control to cycle through available input modes: Bluetooth, AUX, Optical, USB, FM. The selected mode will be displayed on the sound bar's LED screen.

Bluetooth Operation

1. Enter Bluetooth Mode: Press the MODE button until "Bluetooth" appears on the display, or press the Bluetooth button on the remote. The sound bar will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing "BT" on the display.
2. Pairing: On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices. Select "Pure Acoustics SBW-175" from the list. Once paired, the "BT" indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.
3. Playback: You can now play audio from your device through the sound bar. Use your device's controls or the remote control's playback buttons (Play/Pause, Previous Track, Next Track) to manage playback.

FM Radio Operation

1. Enter FM Mode: Press the MODE button until "FM" appears on the display, or press the FM button on the remote.
2. Auto Scan: Press and hold the Play/Pause button on the remote to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The system will scan and save available stations.
3. Tune Stations: Use the Previous Track and Next Track buttons on the remote to navigate through the saved stations.

Sound Adjustments (Remote Control)

• BASS/TREBLE: Use the BASS and TREBLE adjustment buttons to fine-tune the low and high frequencies.
