3. Setup

Before your first flight, follow these steps to assemble and prepare your drone.

3.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the drone.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the fully charged drone battery, ensuring the connectors are properly aligned.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

1. Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert 4 AA batteries, matching the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
3. Close the battery cover.

3.4 Pairing and GPS Calibration

1. Place the drone on a flat, open surface outdoors, away from tall buildings or magnetic interference.
2. Power on the drone, then power on the remote control.
3. The drone's indicator lights will flash, indicating it is searching for a signal.
4. Perform the pairing sequence (refer to specific remote control instructions for stick movements, usually pushing the left stick up then down).
5. Once paired, the drone will begin GPS signal acquisition. Wait for the indicator lights to change, signifying a stable GPS lock (this may take a few minutes).
