2. Safety Information

2.1 General Safety Precautions
- Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open as this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy.

2.2 Child Safety Lock
The Toshiba EM131A5C-SS features a mandatory two-step child lock safety feature to comply with safety standards. This prevents accidental operation by children.

To engage the child lock, press and hold the "STOP/CANCEL" button for 3-5 seconds until "LOCK" appears on the display. To deactivate, press and hold the "STOP/CANCEL" button again for 3-5 seconds.
3. Setup

For quick cooking, simply press the number keys (1-6) for 1-6 minutes of cooking time at 100% power. Pressing the "START/+30Sec." button will add 30 seconds to the cooking time or start cooking for 30 seconds if no time is set.

4.6 Mute Function (ECO Mode)
