The AKD Part Flush Mount LED Pods feature a robust design with superior illumination capabilities. Each pod is equipped with 28 high-intensity LEDs, delivering 84 Watts and 8,400 Lumens of 6000K cool white light. The unique quad-row convex optics spot beam design ensures a concentrated light output without dark spots, providing wider and longer intense illumination. The durable 6063 die-cast aluminum housing and IP68 waterproof rating ensure resilience in various environmental conditions.

3. Features

• Concentrated Beam: Features Quad Row Convex Optics Spot Beam with a unique fisheye reflector for wider and longer intense illumination distance.
• Solid Structure: IP68 waterproof, shockproof, and dustproof rate standard. Constructed with 6063 Die-cast aluminum housing for wide working temperature (-40°C~85°C). Includes 8 screws for stable mounting.
• Efficient Cooling: Relatively thin & dense, about 2.8 inch height grooved fins for quick heat elimination. Aluminum alloy heat sink maximizes surface area for optimal cooling, extending lifespan over 50,000 hours.

4. Package Contents

• Paper Model for Shape Cutting
• Necessary Mounting Hardware Kit (screws, washers, nuts)

Note: Wiring harness is NOT included and must be purchased separately.

5. Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the performance and safety of your LED pods. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Prepare the Mounting Location: Identify a suitable flat surface on your vehicle (e.g., bumper, grille) for flush mounting. Ensure there is enough space behind the surface for the LED pod and wiring.
2. Mark and Cut: Use the provided paper model to accurately mark the cutting area on your vehicle. Carefully cut out the marked shape.
3. Insert LED Pod: Slide the LED pod into the cut-out hole from the front.
4. Secure Mounting: From the rear of the mounting surface, align the mounting hardware (screws, washers, nuts) with the holes on the LED pod. Tighten securely to prevent wobbling.
5. Wiring: Connect the LED pod's wiring to your vehicle's electrical system. The black wire is typically negative, and the red wire is positive. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated. Consider using a separate wiring harness with a relay and switch for optimal control and protection (not included).

6. Operation

Once installed and wired, your AKD Part Flush Mount LED Pods are ready for operation. If using a dedicated wiring harness with a switch, simply activate the switch to turn the lights on or off. These lights are designed for auxiliary use, such as fog lights, backup lights, or off-road driving lights.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AKD Part Flush Mount LED Pods, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Regular Cleaning: Clean the lens and housing regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the lens.
• Inspect Wiring: Periodically check all wiring connections for signs of wear, corrosion, or damage. Ensure connections remain tight and insulated.
• Check Mounting: Verify that the LED pods are securely mounted and that all screws are tight. Re-tighten if necessary to prevent vibration damage.
• Waterproof Integrity: While the pods are IP68 rated, avoid directing high-pressure water jets directly at the seals for extended periods.
