2. Safety Information

4. Product Overview

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Drone Battery

1. Locate the drone's battery compartment and remove the Lithium-polymer battery.
2. Connect the battery to the provided USB charger.
3. Plug the USB charger into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
4. The charging indicator light on the charger will typically show red during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.
5. Charging time may vary, typically 60-90 minutes. Do not leave charging unattended.
6. Once charged, disconnect the battery and reinsert it into the drone, ensuring it is securely connected.

5.2 Installing Controller Batteries

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller.
2. Insert the required number of AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings.
3. Close the battery compartment securely.

5.3 Propeller Installation (if required)

If propellers are not pre-installed or need replacement:

• Ensure the drone is powered off.
• Match the propellers to their corresponding motor shafts. Propellers are typically marked (e.g., A or B) and must be installed on the correct motor.
• Gently push the propeller onto the motor shaft until it is seated firmly. Do not force.

5.4 Smartphone App Installation and Connection

1. Download the official Denver DCW-360 app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android). Refer to the packaging or a quick start guide for the exact app name or QR code.
2. Power on the drone.
3. On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the drone (e.g., "DCW-360_XXXXXX").
4. Open the installed app. You should see a live video feed from the drone's camera, indicating a successful connection.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Pairing the Drone and Controller

1. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
2. Turn on the drone's power switch. The drone's LED lights will flash.
3. Turn on the remote controller.
4. Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The drone's LED lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.

6.2 Calibration

After pairing, it is recommended to calibrate the gyroscope for stable flight:

• With the drone on a flat surface and paired, push both joysticks to the bottom-right corner simultaneously for a few seconds.
• The drone's lights will flash rapidly and then become solid, indicating successful calibration.

6.3 Take-off and Landing

• Manual Take-off: After pairing and calibration, gently push the left joystick (throttle) upwards. The propellers will start spinning, and the drone will ascend.
• One-Key Take-off (if available): Press the designated one-key take-off button (refer to controller diagram if provided).
• Manual Landing: Gently pull the left joystick (throttle) downwards. The drone will descend. Once it lands, pull the joystick all the way down to stop the motors.
• One-Key Landing (if available): Press the designated one-key landing button.

6.4 Flight Controls

• Left Joystick (Throttle/Yaw):
  • Up/Down: Ascend/Descend

6.5 Camera Operation (Photo/Video)

The DCW-360 drone is equipped with a camera for capturing photos and videos. These functions are primarily controlled via the smartphone app connected via Wi-Fi.

• Ensure your smartphone is connected to the drone's Wi-Fi network and the app is open.
