Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present: aquarium tank, lid, internal filter, and LED light unit.
  2. Placement: Position the aquarium on a stable, level surface capable of supporting the weight of the filled aquarium (approximately 6 kg or 13 lbs). Ensure the location is away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts.
  3. Filter Installation: Install the internal triple-stage filter (mechanical, chemical, and biological) inside the aquarium as per the diagrams provided in the separate filter manual (if applicable). Ensure the filter is securely attached and the outlet is positioned correctly for water circulation.
  4. Lighting Installation: Attach the 3W LED lighting unit to the designated area on the lid. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  5. Water Filling: Rinse the aquarium thoroughly with clean water (do not use soap or detergents). Add dechlorinated water to the aquarium, leaving a small gap from the top edge.
  6. Conditioning: Add appropriate water conditioner and beneficial bacteria as recommended for new aquariums. Allow the aquarium to cycle for several days to weeks before introducing any aquatic life.
  7. Electrical Connections: Connect the filter pump and LED light power cords to a suitable electrical outlet. The system is bivolt (automatic voltage selection). Ensure drip loops are created to prevent water from reaching electrical outlets.
  8. Lid Placement: Place the hinged lid on top of the aquarium. The lid features a 10cm front opening for feeding and a rear opening for equipment passage.

Operating Instructions

LED Lighting

  • The 3W LED light provides a full spectrum (6500K) suitable for plant growth and enhancing fish colors.
  • It features a programmable timer for cycles of 4, 8, or 12 hours. Refer to the light unit's specific instructions for setting the timer.
  • Maintain a consistent light cycle to prevent algae growth and support the well-being of your aquatic life.

Internal Filter

  • The internal filter has an adjustable flow rate from 100 to 200 L/h. Adjust the flow according to the needs of your aquatic inhabitants.
  • Ensure the filter is always submerged when operating to prevent damage to the pump.

Feeding

  • Utilize the 10cm front opening on the lid for convenient feeding of your fish or shrimp.

Maintenance

Water Changes

  • Perform regular partial water changes (e.g., 25% weekly) to maintain water quality and a healthy environment. Always use dechlorinated water that matches the aquarium's temperature.

Filter Cleaning

  • Clean the filter media regularly (e.g., every 2-4 weeks) by rinsing it in old aquarium water to preserve beneficial bacteria. Replace chemical media (e.g., activated carbon) as recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Periodically check and clean the filter pump impeller to ensure optimal performance.

Aquarium Cleaning

  • Wipe down the interior glass surfaces with an aquarium-safe cleaner or algae scraper as needed to remove algae buildup.
  • Clean the exterior of the aquarium with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

Troubleshooting

  • Cloudy Water: This can be caused by new tank syndrome, overfeeding, or insufficient filtration. Ensure proper cycling, feed sparingly, and check filter media.
  • Filter Not Working: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in. Ensure the impeller is not blocked by debris. Clean the impeller and housing if necessary.
  • LED Lights Not Turning On: Verify the power connection. Check the timer settings. If the issue persists, the LED unit may require replacement.
  • Excessive Algae Growth: Reduce lighting duration, decrease feeding, and perform more frequent water changes. Consider adding algae-eating inhabitants if suitable for your tank size and species.
