• Free: When the button is not pressed, the leash tape can extend and retract freely, allowing your dog more range of motion.
• Pause: Press and hold the button with your thumb to temporarily stop the leash from extending further. Release the button to resume free movement. This is useful for short stops or to prevent your dog from moving too far ahead.
• Locked: To lock the leash at a specific length, press the button down and then slide it forward until it clicks into the locked position. This keeps the leash at a fixed length, similar to a standard leash.
• Unlocked: To unlock the leash from the locked position, slide the button backward until it releases.
