7.3 Battery Care
- Always store LiPo batteries at a 'storage charge' level (around 3.8V per cell) if not used for extended periods.
- Never fully discharge a LiPo battery.
- Inspect batteries for swelling or damage before each use. Discontinue use immediately if damaged.
8. Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their potential solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Vehicle does not power on. | Dead LiPo battery; loose battery connection; vehicle power switch off. | Charge LiPo battery; check connections; ensure power switch is ON. |
| No response from transmitter. | Dead transmitter batteries; transmitter not turned on; binding issue. | Replace transmitter batteries; turn on transmitter; re-bind transmitter/receiver (refer to transmitter manual). |
| Poor performance or sudden stops. | Low LiPo battery; motor/ESC overheating; damaged components. | Recharge LiPo battery; allow components to cool; inspect for damage. |
| Steering not centered or inconsistent. | Steering trim incorrect; damaged servo or linkage. | Adjust steering trim on transmitter; inspect servo and linkage for damage. |
