Maintenance

Cleaning Nozzles

Over time, mineral deposits or debris can clog the sprinkler nozzles, affecting spray performance. To clean:

  • Disconnect the sprinkler from the water source.
  • Use a small, soft brush or a needle to gently clear any blockages from the spray holes on the oscillating bar.
  • Rinse the sprinkler with clean water.

Winter Storage

Before freezing temperatures, disconnect the sprinkler from the hose and drain any remaining water. Store the sprinkler in a dry, protected area to prevent damage from freezing.

Troubleshooting

IssuePossible CauseSolution
Sprinkler not oscillating or rotating.Low water pressure; internal mechanism obstruction; damaged part.Ensure adequate water pressure from your spigot. Check for kinks in the hose. Disconnect and gently shake the sprinkler to dislodge any internal debris. If a small plastic piece has fallen out, it may prevent oscillation; inspect the mechanism.
Uneven spray pattern or low water output.Clogged nozzles; insufficient water pressure.Clean the sprinkler nozzles as described in the Maintenance section. Verify sufficient water pressure.
Sprinkler tips over during operation.Unstable or uneven ground; lightweight design.Place the sprinkler on a flat, stable surface. If necessary, place a heavy object (e.g., a brick) on the base to provide additional stability.
Water leaks from hose connection.Loose connection; worn hose washer.Tighten the hose connection. Replace the rubber washer inside the hose coupling if it is worn or damaged.
