Setup

Unpacking and Initial Preparation

Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Remove all protective tapes and packing materials from the exterior and interior of the printer. Ensure no blue tapes or plastic inserts remain before proceeding.

Toner and Drum Unit Installation

The printer uses a separate toner cartridge and drum unit. Install the included starter toner cartridge (700 pages) and DR-730 drum unit (12,000 pages) into the printer. Refer to the quick setup guide for detailed visual instructions on opening the front cover and inserting the units correctly.

Connectivity Options

The MFCL2750DW offers multiple connectivity options:

• Wireless (Wi-Fi): Connect to your wireless network for convenient printing from multiple devices without cables.

• USB: Direct connection to a single computer.

Follow the on-screen prompts on the 2.7-inch color touchscreen to configure your preferred connection method. For wireless setup, ensure your network name (SSID) and password are available.

Operating Instructions

Printing

The MFCL2750DW delivers lightning-quick printing of up to 36 pages per minute. It supports automatic duplex (two-sided) printing, helping to save paper. Load paper into the 250-sheet capacity tray, which can handle letter or legal-sized paper.

Copying

Utilize the automatic document feeder (ADF) for multi-page copying, including single-pass duplex copying. For single pages or thicker documents, use the flatbed scanner glass. Adjust copy settings such as quantity, darkness, and paper size directly from the control panel.

Scanning

Scan documents using either the 50-sheet ADF for multiple pages or the flatbed scanner for single pages or delicate items. The printer supports scanning to various destinations, including your computer, email, or cloud-based services like Google Drive, Dropbox, Evernote, and OneNote, directly from the 2.7-inch color touchscreen.
