• This system is suitable for municipal tap water and well water within the temperature range of 40°F - 100°F.

4. Mount Filter: Mount the filter to the pipeline. Ensure the water flow direction arrow on the machine head matches the direction of water flow within the pipeline.
5. Drain Line Assembly: Connect the drain hose (not included) to the drain connector at the bottom of the filter.
6. Connect Drain Hose: Insert the drain hose into a suitable drain pipe or drain hole.
7. Restore Water Supply: Slowly turn on the main water supply. Check for any leaks and ensure the filter is working properly.

Operating Instructions

The iSpring WSP-50SL operates continuously once installed. Its primary function is to filter sediment from your water supply. The transparent housing allows for visual monitoring of the filter's condition and sediment accumulation.

Manual Flushing

To maintain optimal performance, regular flushing of the filter is necessary. The frequency of flushing depends on the quality of your source water.

1. Ensure the drain pipe or drain can drain freely and is not blocked.
2. Switch the drain valve at the bottom of the filter to the vertical position to flush. Allow water to drain for a few seconds until clear.
3. Switch the drain valve back to the horizontal position to close it when flushing is complete.

It may be necessary to flush the filter screen at least once every week, depending on sediment levels.

7. Reinstall Drain Hose: Reinstall the drain hose to the drain connector.
8. Restore Water Supply: Slowly turn on the main water supply. Make sure there are no leaks and that the filter is working properly.
