4. Setup

4.1 Placement

Place the washing machine on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for proper ventilation and operation. The machine is lightweight and portable, allowing for flexible placement in areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, or utility rooms.

4.2 Water Connection

Connect the provided water inlet hose to a suitable faucet. Alternatively, you can fill the wash tub manually using a shower head or a bucket. The wash tub typically requires approximately 10 gallons of water per load.

4.3 Drain Hose

Position the drain hose so that it is lower than the machine's drain outlet and leads directly into a sink, bathtub, or shower drain. The machine uses gravity for drainage, so proper positioning is crucial for effective water removal.

4.4 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard 120 Volt electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Washing Cycle

  1. Open the lid of the wash tub.
  2. Load clothes into the wash tub. Do not exceed the maximum wash capacity of 7.9 lbs (3.6 kg).
  3. Add your preferred laundry detergent.
  4. Fill the wash tub with water to the desired level.
  5. Close the wash tub lid.
  6. Turn the 'Wash Selector' knob to either 'Normal' for regular loads or 'Gentle' for delicate items.
  7. Set the 'Wash Timer' knob to the desired duration (up to 15 minutes). The machine will begin agitating.

5.2 Rinsing Cycle

  1. Once the wash cycle is complete, turn the 'Wash Selector' knob to 'Drain' to empty the water from the wash tub.
  2. Refill the wash tub with clean water. You may use slightly less water for rinsing.
  3. Set the 'Wash Timer' knob for a short duration (e.g., 3-5 minutes) to rinse the clothes.

5.3 Spin Cycle

  1. After washing and rinsing, carefully transfer the wet clothes from the wash tub to the spin tub. Do not exceed the maximum spin capacity of 4.4 lbs.
  2. Place the spin tub cover securely on top of the clothes in the spin tub. This helps to keep items in place during spinning.
  3. Close the spin tub lid.
  4. Set the 'Spin Timer' knob to the desired duration (up to 5 minutes). The spin tub will rotate rapidly to extract water.
  5. Once the spin cycle is complete, remove the clothes. They will be damp and require air drying or further drying in a conventional dryer.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Lint Filter

Regularly remove the lint filter located inside the wash tub. Clean any accumulated lint or debris under running water. Reinsert the filter securely before the next wash.

6.2 Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the washing machine with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface.

6.3 Storage

After each use, ensure all water is drained from both tubs. Clean the machine and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Excessive Vibration during Spin: If the spin tub vibrates excessively, the load may be unbalanced. Stop the machine, redistribute the clothes evenly, and restart the spin cycle.
  • Water Not Draining: Check that the drain hose is positioned lower than the machine's outlet and is not kinked or blocked. Ensure the 'Wash Selector' knob is set to 'Drain'.
  • Machine Not Starting: Verify that the power cord is securely plugged into a working 120 Volt outlet. Check that the Wash Timer or Spin Timer knob is set to a duration other than '0'.
