4. Product Overview
The TMEZON Video Intercom System provides secure and convenient communication with visitors. It includes indoor monitors and an outdoor doorbell camera.

6. Setup
6.1 Wiring Diagram
The system uses a 4-wire connection between the indoor monitor and the outdoor doorbell camera. Extension cables are not included but 4-pin connectors are provided. You can use RVV4 (4-conductor cable) / Cat5 / Cat6 cable for extensions up to 100-200 meters.

6.2 Installation Steps
- Mount the Outdoor Doorbell Camera: Choose a suitable location at your entrance, typically at eye level. Use the provided mounting bracket and screws to secure the doorbell camera. Ensure it is protected from direct heavy rain if possible, despite its weatherproof rating.
- Mount the Indoor Monitors: Select desired locations inside your home. Attach the mounting brackets to the wall using screws.
- Connect Wiring:
- Connect the 4-wire cable from the outdoor doorbell to the designated port on the indoor monitor.
- If using multiple monitors, connect them in series or parallel as per the wiring diagram.
- Connect power adapters to the indoor monitors.
- If connecting additional CCTV cameras, PIR alarms, or electronic locks, follow the specific wiring instructions for those devices and connect them to the appropriate ports on the monitor.
- Power On: Once all connections are secure, plug in the power adapters for the indoor monitors. The system should power on automatically.
- Initial Configuration: Follow the on-screen prompts on the indoor monitor to set up basic settings such as language, date, and time.
7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Basic Functions
- Answering a Call: When a visitor presses the doorbell, the indoor monitor will ring and display the visitor's image. Press the 'Talk' button on the monitor to communicate.
- Unlocking the Door: During a call or monitoring, press the 'Unlock' button on the monitor to open a connected electronic door lock.
- Monitoring: Press the 'Monitoring' button on the indoor monitor to view the live feed from the outdoor doorbell camera at any time.
- Ending a Call: Press the 'Hang up' button to end communication.

7.2 Menu Navigation

- Settings: Adjust system parameters such as language, date/time, display brightness, and recording preferences.
- Ring: Select doorbell melodies and adjust volume levels.

7.3 Recording and Playback
The system automatically records video or takes snapshots when the doorbell is pressed or motion is detected.

7.4 Intercom Communication

- Initiating a Call: From one indoor monitor, select the desired monitor to call and press the 'Transfer Call' button.
- Answering an Internal Call: The receiving monitor will ring. Press the 'Talk' button to establish communication.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor screen and doorbell camera lens. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website periodically for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
