1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the Skechers Rosencrans Silicone Digital Watch, Model SR6141. This digital watch features a gloss finish plastic case, a comfortable silicone strap, and a clear digital display. It includes functions such as time display, date, chronograph, alarm, and backlight. The watch is designed for everyday use and is water-resistant.

2. Watch Components

Familiarize yourself with the buttons and display features of your Skechers Rosencrans Digital Watch.

  • LIGHT Button: Activates the EL backlight for visibility in low light conditions.
  • MODE Button: Cycles through different modes (Time, Alarm, Chronograph).
  • START Button: Used to start/stop functions in Chronograph mode, or adjust settings in setting mode.
  • RESET Button: Used to reset functions in Chronograph mode, or adjust settings in setting mode.

3. Setup and Time Setting

Follow these steps to set the time and date on your watch.

  1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button repeatedly until the seconds begin to flash. This indicates you are in time setting mode.
  2. Press the RESET button to cycle through the settings: Seconds → Hours → Minutes → Month → Date → Day of Week.
  3. Use the START button to adjust the flashing value. Hold the START button to quickly advance the numbers.
  4. To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour format, adjust the hour setting past 12 (for 12-hour) or 23 (for 24-hour). The 'P' indicator signifies PM in 12-hour format.
  5. Once all settings are correct, press the MODE button to exit the setting mode and return to the normal time display.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Using the Backlight

Press the LIGHT button to illuminate the display. The backlight will remain active for a few seconds.

4.2. Chronograph (Stopwatch) Function

  1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button once to enter Chronograph mode. The display will show "00:00:00".
  2. Press the START button to begin timing.
  3. Press the START button again to pause timing.
  4. Press the START button to resume timing.
  5. To reset the chronograph to zero, press the RESET button while the chronograph is paused.
  6. Press the MODE button to return to the normal time display.

4.3. Alarm and Hourly Chime

  1. From the normal time display, press the MODE button twice to enter Alarm mode. The alarm time will be displayed.
  2. Press the RESET button to toggle the alarm ON/OFF. An alarm icon (often a bell) will appear when the alarm is active.
  3. To set the alarm time, press and hold the START button until the hour digits flash.
  4. Press the RESET button to select hours or minutes.
  5. Use the START button to adjust the flashing value.
  6. Once the alarm time is set, press the MODE button to exit alarm setting.
  7. To activate/deactivate the hourly chime, press the START button while in Alarm mode (without holding). A chime icon will appear when active.
  8. Press the MODE button to return to the normal time display.

5. Maintenance and Care

  • Water Resistance: This watch is water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM or 165 feet). It is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming and showering. It is not suitable for diving or snorkeling. Do not press any buttons while the watch is wet or submerged.
  • Cleaning: Clean the watch case and silicone strap with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Temperature: Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for extended periods, as this can affect battery life and watch performance.
  • Impact: Protect the watch from strong impacts or drops, which can damage the internal components or the display.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your watch, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Display is dim or blank: The battery may be low. Replace the battery (1 Product Specific battery required). If the display shows partial numerals, a battery replacement is likely needed.
  • Difficulty setting time/date: Ensure you are pressing the correct buttons as described in the "Setup and Time Setting" section. Sometimes, a firm press is required. If the buttons are unresponsive, try gently cleaning around them.
  • Watch not keeping accurate time: This could indicate a low battery or a need for a full reset. If a battery change does not resolve the issue, contact customer support.
  • Water damage: If water enters the watch, immediately stop using it and seek professional repair. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself.
