2. Package Contents
Verify that all items are present in the package:

3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your LeMotech Junction Box:
- Prepare the Box:
- Unscrew the four stainless steel screws on the lid and carefully remove the lid.
- Identify the desired cable entry points. The box features pre-drilled entry holes with rubber stoppers.
- For cable entry, carefully cut or remove the appropriate rubber stopper(s) to create an opening suitable for your cable diameter. Ensure the opening is snug to maintain the IP65 seal.
- If mounting internal components (e.g., circuit boards, DIN rails), utilize the self-contained mounting holes inside the box.
- Mount the Box:
- Position the junction box on the desired mounting surface. The box has designated areas for mounting screws on the back.
- Mark the locations for the mounting screws.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary, considering the type of mounting surface. For masonry or concrete, use the provided expansion bolts.
- Secure the box to the surface using the self-tapping screws (M5x40) or appropriate fasteners for your application.
- Wire Connections:
- Route your electrical cables through the prepared entry holes.
- Make all necessary electrical connections inside the box according to local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Seal the Box:
- Ensure the built-in rubber grommet around the lid is properly seated and free from debris.
- Place the lid back onto the box, aligning the screw holes.
- Tighten the four stainless steel screws (M3*15) evenly to ensure a tight, waterproof seal. Do not overtighten.

4. Operation

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and continued protective performance of your junction box:
- Periodic Inspection: Annually inspect the box for any signs of physical damage, cracks, or degradation of the ABS plastic.
- Seal Integrity: Check the rubber grommet around the lid and the rubber stoppers in the cable entry holes for wear, tears, or displacement. Ensure they are clean and properly seated to maintain the waterproof seal. Replace if damaged.
- Screw Tightness: Periodically check that all lid screws are securely tightened. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the plastic or compromise the seal.

6. Troubleshooting
Common issues and their solutions:

- Solution: Check the rubber grommet on the lid for proper seating and damage. Ensure all four lid screws are tightened evenly. Verify that the rubber stoppers in unused cable entry holes are fully intact, and that stoppers used for cables are cut snugly around the cable and properly inserted. Consider applying a small amount of silicone sealant around cable entry points if issues persist.
- Issue: Difficulty Tightening Lid Screws.
- Solution: Ensure the lid is correctly aligned with the box. The screws are designed to create a tight seal; apply firm, even pressure while turning. If screws are cross-threaded or stripped, they may need replacement.
- Issue: Cables do not fit through rubber stoppers.
- Solution: The rubber stoppers are designed to be cut to size. Use a sharp utility knife or scissors to carefully enlarge the opening in the stopper to accommodate your cable, ensuring a tight fit to maintain the waterproof seal. Avoid cutting the opening too large.
