1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the Tekswamp Replacement Remote Control, designed for use with the Technics SA-DX930 audio/video receiver. This remote offers most of the original commands for your device without requiring additional programming.
It is guaranteed to perform essential functions such as powering the device on and off, navigating menus, and selecting input signals. Please note that some specific functions, including page flip, keystone correction, video adjustment, and number input, may not function identically to the original remote in all cases. This remote does not include a laser pointer function.
2. Setup: Battery Installation
The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the cover downwards or press the latch to open the compartment.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover, sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.
Important: The remote features a security screw on the battery compartment to prevent unauthorized access, especially by children. Use a small Phillips head screwdriver to loosen or tighten this screw when accessing the battery compartment.
