1. Introduction
The L8Star BM70 is a compact and lightweight mobile phone designed for essential communication. It can function as a standalone phone with a Nano SIM card or as a Bluetooth headset for your smartphone. 2.1. Powering On the Device
Before turning on the L8Star BM70, locate the small switch on the right side of the phone. Slide this switch upwards to unlock the device. Once unlocked, long-press the power button to turn on the phone. The screen will display 'Welcome' upon successful startup.

2.2. SIM Card Installation
The L8Star BM70 supports a single Nano SIM card. To install, gently slide open the SIM card slot cover. Insert the Nano SIM card into the designated slot, ensuring it is correctly oriented. Push the card inwards until it clicks into place, securing it without ejecting. Close the SIM card slot cover.
Important Note: This phone supports 2G GSM networks (850/900/1800/1900MHz). It will work with carriers like T-Mobile, Lycamobile, Speedtalk, Ting GSM, or Simple Mobile that provide 2G GSM SIM cards. It will NOT work with AT&T or any CDMA carriers such as Verizon, Sprint, or Boost.

2.3. Initial Charging
The phone comes with a 300mAh Lithium Ion battery. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the Mini 5-pin USB port on the phone and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).

3. Operating Instructions
3.1. Basic Phone Functions
Once powered on and with a valid SIM card, the BM70 can make and receive calls and send/receive SMS messages. Navigate the menu using the directional keys and select options with the center button. The phonebook can store up to 500 numbers.
3.2. Using as a Bluetooth Headset/Dialer
The BM70 can be paired with your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth (V3.0) to function as a Bluetooth headset or dialer. This allows you to make and receive calls, send messages, and play MP3 music through the mini phone, leveraging your smartphone's connectivity. The maximum Bluetooth distance is 10 meters.

3.3. Magic Voice Feature
The BM70 includes a 'Magic Voice' feature that allows you to change your voice during calls. Options typically include original, male, female, and child voices. This feature can be accessed through the phone's menu under 'Extras' or 'Settings'.

3.4. Other Features
- Music Player: Play MP3 files when connected via Bluetooth or if stored on the device (requires internal memory or compatible storage).

5. Troubleshooting
5.1. Phone Does Not Turn On
- Ensure the power switch on the right side of the phone is slid upwards to the 'unlocked' position.
- Verify the battery is charged. Connect the phone to a power source using the USB cable and allow it to charge for a few minutes before attempting to power on again.
5.2. No Network Signal / Cannot Make Calls
- Confirm that a Nano SIM card is correctly inserted and secured in the slot.
- Check if your SIM card supports 2G GSM networks (850/900/1800/1900MHz). This phone is not compatible with AT&T or CDMA carriers like Verizon, Sprint, or Boost.
- Ensure you are in an area with 2G GSM network coverage.
- If you recently activated a SIM card, it might need to be initially registered in a 4G or higher phone before being placed into the BM70.
5.3. Bluetooth Connectivity Issues
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the BM70 and the device you are trying to pair with.
- Make sure both devices are within the 10-meter Bluetooth range.
- Try unpairing and re-pairing the devices.
5.4. Forgotten Security Password
The original phone security password is 1234. If you have changed it and forgotten it, you may need to perform a factory reset (consult manufacturer support if this option is not available in settings).
