2. Installing the Rear Camera

  1. Mount the rear camera at the back of your vehicle, typically above the license plate or inside the rear window, ensuring a clear view.
  2. Connect the rear camera cable to the mirror unit.
  3. Route the rear camera cable from the mirror unit, along the vehicle's headliner and side panels, to the rear of the car. Ensure the cable is tucked away to avoid interference with airbags or other vehicle components.
  4. For automatic display of the reverse image with parking guidelines, connect the red wire from the rear camera cable to your vehicle's reverse light power supply. This will activate the rear camera display when the vehicle is put into reverse gear.

3. Inserting the Micro SD Card

Insert a micro SD (TF) memory card (Class 10 or higher, up to 128GB) into the designated slot on the mirror unit. Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

The device will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle starts. It will power off automatically when the ignition is turned off.

2. Recording Modes

  • Normal Recording: Continuous recording in a loop.
  • G-Sensor Triggered Recording: In case of a sudden impact or collision, the G-sensor will automatically lock the current video file to prevent it from being overwritten.
  • Parking Monitor Recording: When the vehicle is parked and the parking monitor function is enabled, the device will automatically start recording if it detects a shake or impact.
  • Motion Detection Recording: If enabled, recording will start when motion is detected in the camera's field of view.

3. Display Modes

The 4.3-inch screen can display video from the front camera, rear camera, or both simultaneously in a Picture-in-Picture (PIP) format. Use the mode button on the mirror unit to switch between display modes.
