5.1 Placement

The subwoofer can be placed on the floor, ideally in a corner for optimal bass response. Ensure the rear port of the subwoofer is approximately 30cm away from any wall and free from obstructions.

5.2 Connecting to Your Television or Audio Source
Choose one of the following connection methods based on your TV's available outputs:
- Optical Connection (Recommended): Connect an optical cable (not supplied) from your TV's optical digital output to the soundbar's "Digital Optical In" port. This provides high-quality digital audio.
- Coaxial Connection: Connect a coaxial cable (not supplied) from your TV's coaxial digital output to the soundbar's "Digital Coaxial In" port.
- AUX Connection: Connect an RCA audio cable (not supplied) from your TV's analog audio output (usually red and white RCA jacks) to the soundbar's "AUX In" ports.
Note: Only one audio connection is needed. If multiple connections are made, select the desired input source on the soundbar.
5.3 Connecting the Subwoofer
Connect the proprietary cable from the wired subwoofer to the "Subwoofer Out" port on the soundbar. Ensure the connection is secure.
5.4 Power Connection
- Connect the AC power adapter to the "AC Power In" port on the soundbar.
- Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the remote control or the soundbar.
- Volume Control: Use the Volume +/- buttons on the remote or soundbar to adjust the volume.
- Mute: Press the Mute button on the remote to temporarily silence the audio. Press again to unmute.
- Source Selection: Press the Source button on the remote or soundbar to cycle through available inputs (Optical, Coaxial, AUX, Bluetooth, USB, FM).
6.2 Bluetooth Pairing
To stream audio wirelessly from a Bluetooth-enabled device:
- Press the Source button until "Bluetooth" is selected. The soundbar will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon or message on the display.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Philips HTL1193B/94" from the list. Once paired, the soundbar will indicate a successful connection.
- You can now play audio from your device through the soundbar.
