1. Important Safety Information

When using your LIGHT 'N' EASY multifunctional steamer, basic safety precautions should always be followed. Please read all instructions before using your steam mop. Use caution when operating the steam mop, as the steam emitted is very hot.

Do not add any chemicals to the water tank. Only use straight water (distilled water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup) to ensure proper function and longevity of the appliance.

The LIGHT 'N' EASY Steam Cleaner is a versatile appliance designed for deep cleaning various sealed hard floor surfaces using super-heated steam. It features a detachable handheld unit for multi-purpose cleaning tasks.

3. Setup and Assembly

The steam cleaner is designed for quick and easy assembly, with components clicking securely into place.

3.1 Package Contents

Verify that all components are present in the package:

• Steam mop main unit
• Microfiber pad
• Fabric cleaning tool
• Flexible hose
• Jet nozzle
• Filling cup

3.2 Filling the Water Tank

The water tank is located on the main unit. To fill:

1. Ensure the unit is unplugged.
2. Locate the water tank cap (often purple, as shown in Figure 3.2).
3. Open the cap and use the provided filling cup to pour straight water directly into the tank.
4. Monitor the water level through the transparent window on the back of the unit.
5. Securely close the water tank cap.

3.3 Attaching the Microfiber Pad

Attach a clean microfiber pad to the bottom of the mop head. The pad should be securely fastened before use. Allow approximately 30 seconds for the pad to become sufficiently wet once steam generation begins, enabling smooth gliding across the floor.

4. Operating Instructions

The LIGHT 'N' EASY Steam Cleaner is designed for efficient and chemical-free cleaning.

4.1 Powering On and Steam Settings

Plug the unit into a standard electrical outlet. The steam cleaner features on-demand HI, MED, and LOW steam settings, allowing you to select the appropriate steam output for various floor surfaces.

4.2 Smart Switch Technology

The unit incorporates a Smart Switch feature. When placed upright, the steam output will cease, protecting your hard floors and allowing for pauses during cleaning. To resume steam, simply slant the unit and glide it across the surface.

4.3 Floor Cleaning

The steam mop is suitable for cleaning various sealed hard floor surfaces, including marble, tile, grout, ceramic, stone, vinyl, laminate, and sealed wood flooring. The 212°F hot steam effectively removes stains and sticky messes, drying quickly without leaving residue.

4.4 Handheld Unit Operation

Detach the handheld unit for versatile cleaning. It can be used for garment wrinkle removal, upholstery refreshing, and deep cleaning in bathrooms and kitchens. Attach the appropriate accessories, such as the fabric cleaning tool or jet nozzle, for specific tasks.

4.5 Child and Pet Safe Cleaning

The LIGHT 'N' EASY Steam Cleaner uses only tap water, eliminating the need for harsh chemicals. This makes it a safe cleaning solution for homes with children and pets.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Microfiber Pads

The microfiber pads are reusable. After use, detach the pad from the mop head and wash it according to the care instructions (typically machine washable). It is recommended to have extra pads on hand for continuous cleaning sessions.

5.2 Water Tank Refill

The water tank has a capacity of 11.5 ounces. You can monitor the water level through the transparent window. Refill the tank as needed during extended cleaning. Always unplug the unit before refilling.

5.3 Cord Storage

The power cord can be conveniently stored on the unit itself, wrapping around the handle for neat storage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your LIGHT 'N' EASY Steam Cleaner, refer to the following common solutions:

• No Steam Output: Ensure the unit is properly plugged in and the water tank is filled. Check that the Smart Switch is engaged by slanting the mop.
• Streaks or Haze on Floor: This can sometimes occur, especially with tap water containing high mineral content. Try using distilled water to minimize streaking. Ensure the microfiber pad is clean.
• Mop Not Gliding Smoothly: Ensure the microfiber pad is sufficiently wet. If the pad is heavily soiled, replace it with a clean one.
• Water Leaking: Ensure the water tank cap is securely closed. Do not overfill the tank.
