1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective operation of your Godox SL-100 LED Video Light. The SL-100 is a daylight-balanced, 5600K COB LED light designed for high-quality video and photography applications. It offers precise brightness control and is compatible with Bowens S-mount accessories.
Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper function and to prevent damage.
2. Safety Information
- Do not disassemble or modify the product. Unauthorized repairs will void the warranty.
- Keep the product dry. Do not handle with wet hands or immerse in water.
- Do not operate in the presence of flammable gases or liquids.
- Ensure the power cord is securely connected and not damaged. A loose connection may lead to power loss.
- Unplug the power cord before cleaning or when not in use for extended periods.
- Do not block the ventilation openings. Adequate airflow is essential for heat dissipation.
- Avoid direct eye exposure to the LED light.
- This product is not water resistant. Avoid exposure to rain or moisture.

- COB LED: High-power daylight-balanced LED chip.

5. Setup
- Attach to a Light Stand:
Secure the Godox SL-100 onto a compatible light stand using the mounting bracket. Ensure the locking knob is tightened to prevent accidental movement.
- Connect Power:
Insert the power cord into the power input port on the rear of the light. Connect the other end of the power cord to a suitable AC power outlet (AC 100-240V 50/60Hz). Ensure the connection is firm.
- Attach Light Modifier (Optional):
To attach the included standard reflector or other Bowens S-mount accessories (e.g., softbox), align the modifier with the Bowens S-mount on the front of the light. Rotate clockwise until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release button and rotate counter-clockwise.

6. Operating Instructions
- Power On/Off:
Flip the red power switch on the rear of the unit to the "I" position to turn the light on. Flip it to the "O" position to turn it off.
- Adjusting Brightness:
Once powered on, rotate the control dial to adjust the light intensity. The brightness can be adjusted from 10% to 100%. The current brightness level will be displayed on the LCD screen.

- Setting Channel and Group (Optional, for remote control):
If using an optional wireless remote control (e.g., RC-A5), you can set the channel (CH) and group (GRP) of the light to match your remote. Press the "CH/GRP" button to toggle between channel and group selection. Rotate the control dial to change the values. Press "SET" to confirm.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the light body. For the LED and protective cover, use a lens cleaning cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to maintain optimal cooling performance.
- Temperature Control: The unit has a built-in fan and temperature control function. Allow the fan to operate as needed to prevent overheating. The safe operating temperature is less than or equal to 70°C.
8. Troubleshooting
