3.1 Package Contents

Verify that all components are present before beginning installation:

3.2 Mounting the Unit

The AWMC3 is designed to fit into a standard 3-inch gauge opening. Ensure there is sufficient depth behind the mounting surface for the unit and wiring connections.

  1. Cut a 3-inch (76mm) diameter hole in the desired mounting location.
  2. Insert the AWMC3 into the opening.
  3. Secure the unit using the provided mounting bracket and hardware.

3.3 Wiring Connections

Connect the wiring harness to the rear of the AWMC3 and then to the vehicle's electrical system and speakers. Refer to the detailed wiring diagram below for specific connections.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Controls

The AWMC3 features a 3-inch color TFT display and backlit control buttons for easy operation.

4.2 Audio Sources

AM/FM/WB Tuner

Select the AM, FM, or Weather Band (WB) source. Use the track buttons to tune to stations. The unit supports automatic station scanning.

Bluetooth Connectivity

To pair a Bluetooth device:

  1. Select Bluetooth as the source.
  2. On your mobile device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "AWMC3".
  3. Confirm pairing if prompted.
  4. Once paired, you can stream audio from your device.

Note: Bluetooth functionality depends on your phone's capabilities.

USB Input

Connect a USB device to the USB input for audio playback and charging. The unit supports various audio file formats. Use the track buttons to navigate through files.

AUX Input

Connect an external audio device using a 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX input.

SiriusXM Satellite Radio (Optional)

If a SiriusXM tuner is connected (sold separately), select SiriusXM as the source. A subscription is required for service. Refer to the SiriusXM tuner's manual for specific operation.

4.3 Audio Settings (Equalizer)

Press the Menu button to access audio settings. The built-in equalizer allows adjustment of bass, treble, and other audio characteristics to optimize sound output.
