Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your FRITZ!Powerline 1260E WLAN Set:

1. Connect the FRITZ!Powerline 1220E Adapter: Plug the FRITZ!Powerline 1220E adapter into a wall outlet near your router. Use one of the provided network cables to connect the adapter's LAN port to a free LAN port on your router.

2. Position the FRITZ!Powerline 1260E Adapter: Plug the FRITZ!Powerline 1260E adapter into a wall outlet in the room where you want to extend your network coverage. Ensure it is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a power strip for optimal performance.
3. Establish Connection (Pairing): The adapters should automatically connect. If they do not, press the "Connect" button on the FRITZ!Powerline 1220E adapter for approximately 1 second. Within 2 minutes, press the "Connect" button on the FRITZ!Powerline 1260E adapter for approximately 1 second. The Powerline LED on both devices should light up green, indicating a successful connection.

4. Wi-Fi Setup (for 1260E): The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E adapter will broadcast a Wi-Fi network. You can either use the default Wi-Fi name and password found on the device label or integrate it into an existing FRITZ!Box Mesh Wi-Fi network. For Mesh integration, press the "Connect" button on your FRITZ!Box for about 6 seconds, then within 2 minutes, press the "Connect" button on the FRITZ!Powerline 1260E for about 1 second.

For best performance, avoid plugging powerline adapters into power strips or surge protectors, as this can interfere with the signal.
