4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the grill plate, raclette dishes, and spatulas with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The grill base can be wiped with a damp cloth, but never immerse it in water.
  3. Position the Grill: Place the grill base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation and clearance from walls or other appliances.
  4. Attach Grill Plate: Place the reversible cast aluminum grill plate securely on top of the heating element. Ensure it is seated correctly to prevent wobbling during use.
  5. Insert Raclette Dishes: Slide the 8 non-stick raclette dishes into their designated slots beneath the heating element.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V, 60Hz electrical outlet. The power-on indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Preheat: Turn the variable temperature control knob to your desired heat setting. Allow the grill to preheat for approximately 10-15 minutes. The grill plate will become hot, ready for cooking.
  3. Grilling on Top: Place thinly sliced meats, seafood, or vegetables directly onto the hot reversible grill plate. Use the ribbed side for grill marks or the flat side for a griddle-like surface. Cook to your desired doneness, turning as needed with appropriate utensils.
  4. Using Raclette Dishes: Place cheese slices, small vegetables, or other ingredients into the individual non-stick raclette dishes. Slide the dishes into the slots beneath the heating element to melt the cheese or cook the contents. Use the provided spatulas to remove melted cheese or cooked food from the dishes onto your plate.
  5. Adjust Temperature: Use the variable temperature control knob to increase or decrease the heat as needed during cooking.
  6. After Use: Once cooking is complete, turn the temperature control knob to the 'OFF' position and unplug the appliance from the outlet. Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
