Assembly Instructions (Crib Configuration)
Follow these steps to assemble your Suite Bebe Laural Lifetime 4-in-1 Crib in its initial crib configuration. It is recommended to have two adults for assembly.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Place them on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches. Verify all parts are present against the parts list.
- Attach Side Rails to Headboard: Align the pre-drilled holes on the side rails with the corresponding holes on the headboard. Insert the appropriate bolts and tighten them using the provided assembly tool. Do not overtighten.
- Attach Footboard: Repeat the process from step 2 to attach the footboard to the other end of the side rails. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Install Mattress Support: Position the mattress support frame at the desired height. The crib offers three levels of mattress adjustment. Secure the mattress support to the side rails using the designated hardware. Ensure it is level and firmly attached.
- Final Check: Once assembled, gently shake the crib to ensure all connections are tight and stable. Re-tighten any loose fasteners.

Operating and Conversion Instructions
Mattress Height Adjustment
The crib features three adjustable mattress height positions. To adjust the mattress height:
- Remove the mattress from the crib.
- Unscrew the bolts securing the mattress support frame to the side rails.
- Reposition the mattress support frame to the desired height and re-secure it with the bolts. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.
- Always use the lowest mattress position once your child can pull themselves to a standing position.
Conversion to Toddler Bed
To convert the crib into a toddler bed, a guard rail (sold separately) is required.
- Remove the front side rail of the crib.
- Attach the toddler guard rail to the remaining side rails and headboard/footboard using the provided hardware from the guard rail kit.
- Ensure the guard rail is securely fastened and stable.
Conversion to Day Bed
To convert the crib into a day bed:
- Remove the front side rail of the crib.
- No additional parts are typically required for the day bed configuration, as it functions as a crib without the front rail.
- Ensure all remaining connections are secure.
Conversion to Full-Size Bed
To convert the crib into a full-size bed, a full-size bed conversion kit (sold separately) is required. This kit typically includes two long wooden rails and support slats.
- Disassemble the crib completely, removing all side rails and the mattress support.
- The headboard and footboard of the crib will serve as the headboard and footboard for the full-size bed.
- Attach the full-size bed rails from the conversion kit to the headboard and footboard using the hardware provided with the conversion kit.
- Install the support slats across the bed rails to support a full-size mattress and box spring (not included).
- Ensure all components are securely fastened before use.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safety of your crib.
- Cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or strong chemicals, which can damage the finish.
- Inspections: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten as necessary.
- Storage: If storing the crib, disassemble it carefully and store all parts and hardware in a dry, safe place.
- Finish Care: The espresso finish is durable, but avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperature changes to prevent fading or cracking.
