Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the illumination control knob on the top of the sight.
  2. Unscrew the battery cap from the top of the illumination control knob.
  3. Insert one CR2032 lithium battery with the positive (+) side facing upwards.
  4. Securely screw the battery cap back into place.

2. Mounting the Sight

The Goetland Red Dot Sight comes with an integrated 20mm Picatinny/Weaver rail mount. Ensure your firearm or airsoft gun has a compatible 20mm rail.

  1. Loosen the mounting screws on the base of the sight.
  2. Position the sight onto your firearm's 20mm rail at your desired location.
  3. Ensure the sight is aligned properly and tighten the mounting screws firmly by hand. Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage.
  4. For older models or specific setups, additional accessories like risers may be required.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Illumination Adjustment

  2. Remove the protective caps.
  3. Use a flathead screwdriver or a coin to turn the adjustment screws.
  4. Elevation Adjustment: Turning the top screw clockwise will move the point of impact down; counter-clockwise will move it up.
  5. Windage Adjustment: Turning the side screw clockwise will move the point of impact left; counter-clockwise will move it right.
  6. Make small adjustments and test fire to achieve zero at your desired distance.
  7. Once zeroed, replace the protective caps to prevent accidental adjustments and protect the turrets.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

  • Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lenses.
  • For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution designed for optics can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
  • Keep the protective lens covers on when not in use to prevent dust and scratches.
  • Clean the exterior of the sight with a damp cloth as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals.

2. Storage

  • Store the sight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Always ensure the illumination is turned off to conserve battery life.
  • If storing for extended periods, it is recommended to remove the battery to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting
